  • IMA - Volunteer Night at The Greater Cleveland Food Bank

    Thanks!, To our IMA volunteers for serving last night at The Greater Cleveland Food Bank.  Our IMA group assisted in boxing up over 5,640 pounds of frozen meat and poultry donations from local grocery stores in our area to feed those in need.

    Alaska Geographic, a non-profit, is looking for a board member to take over the role of Treasurer. The organization is in excellent financial health.


    I’m Tim Wiepking, the current Alaska Geographic  Treasurer and long time IMA member (even an Anchorage Past President). This is a volunteer position with quarterly board meetings (5-7 hours) and monthly finance committee meeting (1 hour). 


    This his a great position if:

    - You want experience on how boards work.  

    - You enjoy public lands, camping, hunting and other outdoor activities.

    - It complements your employment  especially,  tourism, lodging, or related industries.
