  • IMA 2020 Conference ends perfectly!

IMA 2020 Conference and Global Strategic Management and Digital Trend Forum perfectly ended on December 18, 2020, at Tamkang University (TKU) Taipei campus. More than 100+ professionals attended this professional event. The conference and forum started with the welcoming speech from TKU EMBA CEO, Pro. Tsai Jeng-Yan. Pro. Tsai said that 2020 faced a US-China trade war and the pandemic of COVID-19, many businesses were looking for a new transformation. Since Taiwan had less impact from COVID-19, the speed of digital transformation was slow. Also, because of COVID-19 and the trade war, the importance of strategic management became significant. As a result, it’s a great opportunity to have this event for our accounting and financial professionals in Taiwan to gain the experience and knowledge from our speakers to apply them in the real world.

After the welcoming speech from Pro. Tsai, IMA Taipei Chapter’s President, James Cheng, also shared the role of CMA in the corporate; and, over the past few years, IMA had built a strong relationship with many international corporates as well as introduced the CMA program to them enhance the competitiveness in terms of corporate and staff's career.

    The speakers include:

    - Anne Wu, Chair Professor, National Chengchi University
    - Elizabeth Sun, Former Senior Director of Corporate Communications, TSMC
    - Louis Chen, President of Digital Governance Association
    - Kevin Lee, Director of Asus Cloud Corporation

The sharing topics included Activity Value Management, Investor Relation, Digital Governance, and Cloud Management from our speakers. After their sharing, we also arranged a discussion session hosted by Professor Cheng-Li Huang of TKU Department of Accounting to further interact with our audience.
