For nearly 100 years, IMA has been a champion of and resource for management accounting and financial professionals. It has the morphology from National Association of Accountants (1919) to Institute of Management Accountants (1991). It has celebrated the centenary year of its success in the year 2019.

IMA is the worldwide association of accountants and financial professionals in the business. IMA has a global strength for 140,000+ members, which helps expand their professional skills, better manage their organization, and enhance their careers.

IMA has a Global office in Montvale, NJ, US, and regional offices in the Middle East & Africa- Dubai, India, China - Shanghai, Europe - Zurich, and South Asia - Singapore. It has worldwide 300 + chapters that provide a forum for networking with peers. Since its inception in 1972, the Certified Management (CMA) program has gained its importance among the world business and financial community. It recently reached its record level of 100,000 numbers, and it is not a mere number; you must undergo a rigorous study regimen and pass the parts of CMA exams to achieve this golden standard. CMA Exams test the Management Accounting and Decision-Making skills of individuals who opt for the exams and make them business partners, not merely bookkeepers or Accountants.

IMA Kuwait chapter was founded in 2014 to cater to the needs of IMA members and students of Kuwait. Since then, it's effectively functioning by conducting various events like seminars, webinars, university students' programs, CMA candidates’ program, career growth, promoting regional level conferences, and so forth.

Mr. Samer Ghaleb Ahmad, Director at Large

Last month, we conducted a webinar on 'IFRS updates current and beyond' with eminent speaker Mr. CA Sriram Gopalakrishnan, which we rightfully found immensely valuable to the participants. We hope to follow the momentum with another webinar lined up for 17.09.2021 with the topic 'Diagnosing the costs to decision making' by prominent speaker Mr. Tamilselvan Ramadoss.
