Profitability Analytics

Profitability Analytics is a roadmap that guides management accountants down a path that both expands and strengthens their roles as vital, value-adding members of their organizations’ management.  As technology, artificial intelligence, advanced analytics and data capability radically change the face of business, the role of management accountant must transform from one of recording and analyzing history to that of helping shape and attain a profitable future.  Although some new skills are required, much of this transformation can be accomplished by adjusting perspective, redeploying existing tools and understanding how management accounting fits into the entire fabric of business. The focus of Profitability Analytics is on providing improved internal decision support information throughout the organization to improve profitability and ensure management accountants are communicating and engaging in all areas of the organization in a valued way.
